1960's Gibson RB-100
Gibson's low cost RB, a good way to get into a Gibson banjo from the 60's, with a bowtie neck.
Details:
- One piece flange
- Multi-ply rim, 1/2"
- Bowtie neck (someone glued a metal heart on the pegead. Unfortunately when I took it off, the finish underneath was damaged, so free metal heart!)
- Brass tube tone ring
- Mahagony neck and resonator
- Sliding 5th string capo

Serial number 564177

This was Gibson's answer to the folk boom's desire for a low cost banjo. As an RB, it has most of the features of an RB-250, but without the bronze tone ring.
Banjo: 1,100.00, inclding original case
